Massandjé Touré-Litsé now serves as Executive Director of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group for Côte d’Ivoire, replacing Adama Koné. This appointment, effective June 4, 2025, marks a new step in a career rich in responsibilities.
Prior to this role, the ECOWAS Commission in Abuja benefited from his expertise as Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Agriculture. From 2012 to 2017, he rigorously led the Coffee and Cocoa Council, making a significant contribution to structuring a strategic sector for the Ivorian economy.
At the AfDB, the mission is to oversee projects, loans, and programs aimed at supporting economic development, inclusive growth, and poverty reduction in Africa. Côte d’Ivoire is thus strengthening its presence in pan-African decision-making bodies and confirming its commitment to social and economic progress on the continent.
