His career begins at the BBC World Service, where a solid expertise in the processing of international information is forged. In 2009, his career continued at Africa 24 as Publishing Director and Information Director, strengthening the reputation of an analyst of African issues.
Entrepreneur at heart, Thierry Hot created Samori Media Connection in Brussels in 2010 and launched Notre Afrik magazine, which has become a platform for reflection on political and economic issues on the continent. In 2014, the foundation of the Rebranding Africa Forum offers an annual meeting to decision-makers, researchers and entrepreneurs around African transformation.
In the field of strategic consulting, Hot supports governments and institutions, in particular the Presidency of Burkina Faso, and leads the Pivotal Africa Network, aimed at mobilizing expertise and resources for Africa.
