45 officials trained in the Comoros
The Comorian government is focusing on creating an efficient public administration capable of ensuring rigorous and transparent management.
It is in this context that 45 public officials received their certificates after a public management training course held from July 8 to 12 at the Le Retaj Hotel. This training is part of the Strategic Plan for Human Resources Management (PSGRH), launched by the General Secretariat of the Government, whose objective is to strengthen the skills of officials in ministries and state-owned enterprises.
During the certificate presentation ceremony, the Secretary General of the Government, Nour El Fath Azali, explained that structuring human resources is not just an administrative obligation, but an essential step in properly managing the government’s action plans. “We want an administration that works well, clearly and honestly,” he declared.
Over four days, the participants—25 men and 20 women—learned the basics of good governance, state management, the pursuit of concrete results, as well as the harmonization of public policies and collaboration between institutions. This training is part of a broader reform effort to professionalize public officials and ensure continuity in the work of the administration. The Secretary-General also reiterated that this plan is in line with the vision of the Emerging Comoros Plan, championed by the Head of State. “Each ministry must have qualified staff.
Every manager must do their job well. We want a fair and transparent administration,” he added. Finally, Nour El Fath Azali called on all public officials and employees of public enterprises to commit to this reform, which is important for the country’s development. The General Directorate of the Civil Service, together with the Human Resources Department of the General Secretariat, is monitoring this policy.
