SY Awa Coulibaly has taken over as CEO of Assurances La Providence, an insurance company based in Dakar, Senegal. The new CEO succeeds Ndeye Khady Diop, who retired.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, the CEO previously held the position of Deputy Managing Director at the same company. Founded in 2016 and accredited by CIMA, Assurances La Providence has been operating in the Senegalese market since 2017.
Under the leadership of this expert in the field, the company aims to offer innovative services tailored to the needs of local populations. The new leadership also aims to promote the role of women in a sector that is still predominantly male.
