3,000 women and young people ready to start businesses with the help of the EDBM and the MDE
3,000 young and female entrepreneurs will benefit from improved support thanks to a new partnership between the EDBM (Economic Development Board of Madagascar) and the Maison de l’Entrepreneurat d’Antananarivo (MDE).
This partnership aims to support women’s entrepreneurship and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Madagascar, according to the press release published by the EDBM. The signing ceremony was held recently, attended by the French Ambassador to Madagascar, Arnaud Guillois, the Head of Cooperation of the European Union, Arnaud Borchard, and the Director of the AFD in Madagascar, Nicolas Le Guen.
Thanks to this partnership, the MDE will continue to offer training, coaching, workshops, hackathons, and personalized support. These initiatives will enable young people and women to better develop their projects and grow their businesses. This program strengthens collaboration between public institutions, technical and financial partners, the private sector, and civil society. These stakeholders aim to create a favorable environment for entrepreneurship, accessible to all. This partnership is also part of the ITOVIA project, launched in November 2024 with funding from the AFD.
