This first edition of the Invest Forum marks a decisive step for the economic development of the Autonomous District of Abidjan, creating a bridge between local ambitions and international resources for inclusive and structured growth.
A Major Economic Event for the Autonomous District of Abidjan
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the opening ceremony of the first edition of the Invest Forum in the Autonomous District of Abidjan (FID2A) took place. This major event brings together key investment players, public and private decision-makers, as well as technical partners around a common goal: boosting the local economy through attracting significant investments.
Objectives and Ambitions of the Forum
The Invest Forum aims to make the Autonomous District of Abidjan an attractive and competitive economic hub, capable of generating growth, job creation, and shared prosperity. Focusing on local strengths, including an incentive fiscal environment, a dynamic youth population, and abundant natural resources, the initiative is led by Ivorian authorities with support from organizations such as the Investment Promotion Center of Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI).
Concrete Opportunities for Investors
Over several days, the forum offers a rich program including thematic panels, exhibitions, and B2B meetings designed to facilitate direct dialogue between investors and project promoters. Several key projects are presented, particularly in the agriculture, crafts, tourism, and industry sectors.
An Inclusive and Sustainable Dynamic
One of the forum’s strong commitments is the inclusion of local SMEs, women’s cooperatives, and young entrepreneurs in the process of enhancing local value chains. Monitoring committees will be established to ensure sustainable implementation of projects, thus guaranteeing a real and lasting economic impact for the territory.
Call for National and International Mobilization
Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé participated in the opening, emphasizing the strategic importance of this event for strengthening the confidence of national and foreign investors. He encouraged the economic community to seize this opportunity to build together an innovative and prosperous Abidjan.
