Study in Morocco: 2025 scholarships open to the Comoros

Registration Extended for New High School Graduates

The scholarship platform in Morocco has been reopened since August 7, 2025, exclusively for new Comorian high school graduates. They can now complete their registration by uploading their transcripts and certificates.

The platform will remain open until Monday, August 11, at 11:59 p.m., explained Ali Mohamed Ali, Director of Higher Education. Since 2024, applicants must register online. In the Comoros, the platform was open from June 18 to July 19. During this period, 687 applicants registered for various levels: bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, medical, and vocational training.

Most applicants were able to complete their registration, except for final-year students who were awaiting their baccalaureate results, which were announced on July 30. These students could submit their first and second-term reports while awaiting the official results.

The Director specified that only candidates with a baccalaureate honors will be given priority. Scientific honors will be given higher honors, ranging from “very good” to “fairly good.” This official also stated that the requested courses must not be available in the Comoros. After the platform closes next Tuesday, applications will be sent.

A Comorian team will travel to Morocco at the end of August to finalize the selection process. The results for bachelor’s and professional training programs will be known after this return. For master’s and theses, responses will arrive between December and February. Each year, Morocco offers approximately 330 scholarships to the Comoros, including 140 for recent bachelor’s degree holders. However, some scholarships are not used because some recipients prefer to study in other countries, particularly France.
