Ahmadou Bakayoko has taken over as CEO of the pan-African industrial group Eranove in Côte d’Ivoire, succeeding Marc Albérola, who has held the position for 16 years. A graduate of the École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris, Bakayoko has extensive international experience. His career began at an investment fund in Silicon Valley, followed by stints at Capgemini Consulting and Canal+ in France.
In 2012, he joined Radiotélévision Ivoirienne (RTI), where he was appointed Deputy Managing Director, then Managing Director in 2013. Since 2019, he has led the Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE) and the Water Distribution Company of Côte d’Ivoire (SODECI), two major subsidiaries of Eranove. Under his leadership, the number of clients has doubled, reflecting strong growth.
