Resolute Mining, an Australian gold company, announces the appointment of Gavin Harris as Chief Operating Officer, effective July 1.
This professional has extensive experience at major mining companies such as Barrick, BHP, and AngloGold Ashanti. This position was previously held by Geoff Montgomery, who recently left. Gavin Harris brings strong expertise to manage the Syama mines in Mali and Mako mines in Senegal, currently operated by Resolute.
With the recent acquisition of the Doropo and ABC projects in Côte d’Ivoire for USD 175 million, this appointment comes at a key time. The Doropo project was already successfully managed by Gavin Harris during his time at Centamin.
