The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) has just appointed Mr. Georges N’Goan as President of its newly created Esports and Artificial Intelligence Commission for a three-year term.
This appointment, confirmed by an official letter from ANOCA President Mustapha Berraf in Abuja, Nigeria, recognizes the exemplary career of the current President of the National Olympic Committee of Côte d’Ivoire (CNO-CIV).
A business lawyer by training, Mr. N’Goan made his mark on Ivorian sport in 2003 by revitalizing the Ivorian Tennis Federation (FIT), which he chaired with a focus on youth training and infrastructure rehabilitation. In 2018, the official joined the CNO-CIV Executive Committee before becoming its President in 2022. Since then, he has been committed to the institution’s modernization and the international outreach of Ivorian sport.
This new continental responsibility underscores its commitment to innovation in African sport. ANOCA welcomes its “cooperation in the service of the African Olympic Movement” and wishes it every success.
