Training and Employment on the Agenda

Supporting young people in their training, employment, and civic engagement is a priority for the Municipality of Bouéni.

Today, Thursday, November 13, 2025, the Youth & Future Forum 2025 is being held at the Bambo-Ouest Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event, focused on guidance, training, and integration, reflects the municipality’s commitment to placing youth at the heart of local development.

According to the official press release, the forum aims to inform and guide young people in their educational and career choices. Participants will discover local resources and stakeholders, such as schools, training centers, associations, and public services. The event also highlights success stories and integration programs to prevent school dropout.

Numerous institutional and community partners are on hand to answer questions from young people, parents, and education and employment professionals. This event allows participants to confidently and ambitiously prepare their personal and professional projects.

For the Mayor of Bouéni, Assani Saindou, the forum reflects the municipality’s concrete commitment to its youth. “We want to give every young person the means to build their own path and seize available opportunities,” he explains.

The program includes interactive workshops and meetings with local stakeholders, giving young people the chance to exchange ideas, ask questions, and discover solutions tailored to their needs. Participants explore training, mobility, and employment options in the municipality and surrounding areas.

Beyond providing information, the forum aims to strengthen the bond between young people and the community by encouraging active participation and civic engagement.
