Le march\u00e9 africain des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques pourrait atteindre 21,39 milliards USD d&rsquo;ici 2027. De m\u00eame, le march\u00e9 des motos sur le continent atteindra 5,07 milliards USD d\u2019ici 2027.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>Transition \u00e9cologique mondiale : L\u2019Afrique a une carte \u00e0 jouer<\/h2>\n<p>La mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique prend de l&rsquo;ampleur en Afrique, en grande partie sous l&rsquo;effet de la crise climatique, qui accentue la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de d\u00e9carboniser les syst\u00e8mes de transport. Les pays africains continuent de rechercher des solutions de mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique et de progresser vers des \u00e9conomies \u00e0 faibles \u00e9missions de carbone. <b>La richesse de l&rsquo;Afrique en min\u00e9raux essentiels \u00e0 la transition \u00e9cologique mondiale offre un avantage consid\u00e9rable<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/notion_attachments\/78521\/file172176482066a00bd494a75mobilite-electrique-en-afrique-un-marche-en-pleine-expansion-976x549-graphe_blog_rectangle_web-fr.webp\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selon le rapport 2023 de la CNUCED sur le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique en Afrique, la demande de ces m\u00e9taux va augmenter au fur et \u00e0 mesure que la pression mondiale en faveur d\u2019une \u00e9nergie plus propre s\u2019intensifie. Une voiture \u00e9lectrique, par exemple, n\u00e9cessite environ six fois plus de min\u00e9raux qu\u2019un v\u00e9hicule traditionnel. En outre, le rapport souligne que le continent poss\u00e8de au moins un cinqui\u00e8me des r\u00e9serves mondiales de m\u00e9taux essentiels \u00e0 la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, dont environ 19 % de celles n\u00e9cessaires aux voitures \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<h2>Se positionner id\u00e9alement sur le march\u00e9 de la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique d\u2019ici 2035<\/h2>\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capmad.com\/fr\/developpement-durable-fr\/strategie-de-promotion-de-lenergie-durable\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #eb612e\" rel=\"noopener\">croissance des investissements dans les \u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/a> entra\u00eene une demande accrue de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques (VE) et de motos \u00e9lectriques. Plusieurs partenaires commerciaux de l&rsquo;Afrique fixent 2035 comme date limite pour interdire la vente de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne.<\/p>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante, des startups sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique ont vu le jour sur tout le continent. Parmi ces structures :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ampersand Electric Motorcycles au Rwanda<\/li>\n<li>Shift EV en \u00c9gypte<\/li>\n<li>BasiGo et Opibus au Kenya<\/li>\n<li>eWAKA Mobility Limited et Zembo en Ouganda<\/li>\n<li>Mobility for Africa au Zimbabwe<\/li>\n<li>Forever powered en Afrique du Sud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u00c9tat du march\u00e9 de la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique en Afrique<\/h2>\n<p>Une r\u00e9volution des transports est en cours en Afrique. Les gouvernements, les institutions priv\u00e9es, les entrepreneurs et les innovateurs continuent d\u2019explorer les possibilit\u00e9s de mobilit\u00e9 durable. Malgr\u00e9 une p\u00e9n\u00e9tration plus faible des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques en Afrique, la tendance est en train de changer rapidement.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Mordor Intelligence, seuls quelques constructeurs dominent le march\u00e9 africain des voitures \u00e9lectriques, notamment Volkswagen AG, BMW AG, Stellantis NV et d&rsquo;autres. Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que la demande de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques dans la r\u00e9gion augmente, les entreprises forment des alliances et des acquisitions avec des concurrents importants du secteur. Des pays africains comme <b>l\u2019\u00c9gypte, l\u2019Afrique du Sud et le Rwanda ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 mis en place des projets pilotes de v\u00e9hicules durables<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00c9gypte reste un leader dans la transition des transports en Afrique. En juin 2023, le Conseil supr\u00eame de la construction de v\u00e9hicules du pays a approuv\u00e9 les initiatives de deux entreprises nationales de mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique. L\u2019objectif est de convertir plus de 100 000 v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 combustion interne en v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le Nig\u00e9ria fait \u00e9galement partie des pays leaders dans la transition vers la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique. Metro Africa Xpress Inc., une plateforme nig\u00e9riane de mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique a lev\u00e9 31 millions USD pour d\u00e9velopper l\u2019assemblage de deux et trois roues \u00e9lectriques. L\u2019Afrique du Sud n\u2019est pas en reste dans la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique. Le pays a lanc\u00e9 un plan de transport vert en 2018, dans le but de d\u00e9carboner l\u2019industrie des transports.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi l\u2019Afrique doit d\u00e9carboner ses transports ?<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;Afrique subit sans aucun doute d\u00e9j\u00e0 le poids de la crise du changement climatique, comme en t\u00e9moignent les catastrophes naturelles qui se produisent. Au cours de cette ann\u00e9e, des catastrophes naturelles d&rsquo;origine climatique ont frapp\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents pays. Des inondations ont frapp\u00e9 l&rsquo;Afrique du Sud, le Rwanda, l&rsquo;Angola, le Cameroun, l&rsquo;\u00c9thiopie, l&rsquo;Ouganda et la RDC d\u00e9but 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Le cyclone tropical Freddy qui a frapp\u00e9 le Mozambique et le Malawi, en f\u00e9vrier et mars, est entr\u00e9 dans l\u2019histoire comme le troisi\u00e8me cyclone tropical le plus meurtrier jamais enregistr\u00e9 dans l\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re sud. En outre, des incendies de for\u00eat, des glissements de terrain et une invasion de criquets ont ravag\u00e9 plusieurs pays d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Est en 2020. Il est donc plus que jamais urgent d\u2019att\u00e9nuer la crise climatique, en particulier en Afrique.<\/p>\n<h2>Pollution de l&rsquo;air due aux transports<\/h2>\n<p>En r\u00e9duisant la pollution atmosph\u00e9rique, les gouvernements africains pourraient \u00e9viter 200 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s pr\u00e9matur\u00e9s par an d\u2019ici 2030 et 880 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s par an d\u2019ici 2063. De plus, l\u2019Afrique pourrait r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de carbone de 55 %, de m\u00e9thane de 74 % et d\u2019oxyde nitreux de 40 % d\u2019ici 2063. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019indique le rapport de la Coalition pour le climat et l\u2019air pur (CCAC), du Programme des Nations unies pour l\u2019environnement (PNUE) et de la Commission de l\u2019Union africaine.<\/p>\n<p>La pollution reste la plus grande menace environnementale pour la sant\u00e9 humaine, responsable d&rsquo;environ 7 millions de d\u00e9c\u00e8s chaque ann\u00e9e dans le monde. Le rapport r\u00e9v\u00e8le qu&rsquo;en raison de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;Afrique au changement climatique, la pr\u00e9vention des \u00e9missions de polluants climatiques \u00e0 courte dur\u00e9e de vie, comme le m\u00e9thane et le carbone noir, permettra de sauver des vies et de prot\u00e9ger l&rsquo;environnement. <b>L&rsquo;adoption de v\u00e9hicules plus propres reste l&rsquo;une de ces mesures, ainsi que des transports publics s\u00fbrs et abordables<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2>Mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique : L&rsquo;avantage de l&rsquo;Afrique<\/h2>\n<p>Dot\u00e9e de terres rares essentielles pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques tels que le cobalt, la bauxite et le lithium, <b>l&rsquo;Afrique a le potentiel d&rsquo;atteindre le z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette d&rsquo;ici 2050<\/b>. Les riches ressources en \u00e9nergie renouvelable de l&rsquo;Afrique, les courtes distances parcourues quotidiennement et la jeune main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre renforcent le potentiel du continent en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es de l&rsquo;United States Geological Survey (USGS) sur les r\u00e9serves min\u00e9rales mondiales montrent qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle mondiale, l&rsquo;Afrique abrite des r\u00e9serves cl\u00e9s de cobalt (52,4 %), de mangan\u00e8se (46 %), de bauxite pour la production d&rsquo;aluminium (24,7 %), de graphite (21,2 %) et de vanadium (16 %).
