Ce secteur reste r\u00e9silient face \u00e0 l&rsquo;av\u00e8nement de la vente en ligne, ce qui le rend crucial pour l&rsquo;avenir du paysage commercial du continent.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>Forte dominance du commerce de d\u00e9tail traditionnel<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;Afrique compte plus de 2,5 millions de commerces de d\u00e9tail traditionnels, repr\u00e9sentant <b>65 %<\/b> \u00e0 <b>75 %<\/b> des ventes jusqu&rsquo;en 2030. Ce secteur reste pr\u00e9dominant dans la plupart des pays africains, mais de mani\u00e8re variable. Une \u00e9tude sur la distribution de d\u00e9tail au Nigeria, au Maroc, en \u00c9gypte, au Kenya et en Afrique du Sud met en lumi\u00e8re ces disparit\u00e9s. Le paysage de la vente au d\u00e9tail \u00e9volue \u00e0 des rythmes diff\u00e9rents \u00e0 travers le continent.<\/p>\n<p>Selon ce rapport, les commer\u00e7ants sont majoritairement jeunes, \u00e2g\u00e9s en moyenne de 31 \u00e0 39 ans. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, <b>70 % <\/b>des d\u00e9taillants traditionnels ont un niveau d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation et une comp\u00e9tence num\u00e9rique sup\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 la moyenne de la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Cependant, l&rsquo;inclusion financi\u00e8re varie consid\u00e9rablement. Au Kenya, <b>85 %<\/b> des g\u00e9rants de magasins poss\u00e8dent un compte bancaire, tandis que ce chiffre n&rsquo;est que de<b> 40 %<\/b> pour leurs homologues nig\u00e9rians.<\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e9silience du march\u00e9 de d\u00e9tail en Afrique<\/h3>\n<p>La r\u00e9silience des magasins traditionnels sur le march\u00e9 au d\u00e9tail d\u00e9coule de leur proximit\u00e9 et de leur flexibilit\u00e9. Contrairement aux sup\u00e9rettes modernes, les \u00e9choppes traditionnelles permettent aux clients ayant un revenu restreint d&rsquo;acheter \u00e0 cr\u00e9dit. De plus, leurs horaires d&rsquo;ouverture sont con\u00e7us pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, les d\u00e9taillants traditionnels maintiennent une part de march\u00e9 de <b>82 %<\/b> au Maroc, parmi lesquels <b>90 %<\/b> proposent des options de cr\u00e9dit. Cela explique leur r\u00e9silience face \u00e0 l&rsquo;essor des d\u00e9taillants modernes tels que Marjane, Carrefour et BIM. En contraste, les<b> 15 %<\/b> les plus fortun\u00e9s de la population marocaine contribuent \u00e0 environ <b>65 %<\/b> des ventes dans le secteur du commerce de d\u00e9tail moderne.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/notion_attachments\/70761\/file171023047265f00bc8503b9essor-de-l-e-commerce-resilience-des-detaillants-976x549-rectangle_blog_web-fr.webp\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Facteurs cl\u00e9s de la croissance de l\u2019e-commerce<\/h2>\n<p>Le commerce \u00e9lectronique \u00e9merge comme une solution opportune pour la modernisation des d\u00e9taillants traditionnels et pour assurer la viabilit\u00e9 des march\u00e9s des magasins modernes. L&rsquo;essor du march\u00e9 \u00e9lectronique d\u00e9coule principalement de trois facteurs cl\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<h3>Croissance d\u00e9mographique et de la classe moyenne<\/h3>\n<p>La population africaine est la plus jeune et celle qui cro\u00eet le plus rapidement au monde. Parmi les 20 villes dont la population \u00e0 la croissance la plus rapide de 2000 \u00e0 2020, seule Abuja est une capitale. Cinq de ces villes d\u00e9passent la barre des 1 million d&rsquo;habitants. La classe moyenne en pleine expansion du continent repr\u00e9sente environ 330 millions de personnes, dont <b>70 %<\/b> se concentrent en \u00c9gypte, au Nig\u00e9ria, en Afrique du Sud et en Alg\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<h3>Connectivit\u00e9 mobile et l\u2019\u00e9mergence de la fintech<\/h3>\n<p>En 2023, l&rsquo;Afrique subsaharienne compte 489 millions d&rsquo;abonn\u00e9s, avec une forte d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 la technologie financi\u00e8re (FinTech). Les transactions via les plateformes mobiles atteignent <b>490 milliards USD<\/b> rien qu\u2019en 2020. Il convient de noter que le r\u00e9seau 3G reste le plus dominant dans la r\u00e9gion subsaharienne et que le taux d&rsquo;adoption de la 5G est de seulement <b>5 %<\/b>. De plus, les prix des donn\u00e9es mobiles y sont les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s au monde.<\/p>\n<h3>Hausse des villes secondaires et les supermarch\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p>Les d\u00e9taillants locaux continuent de jouer un r\u00f4le pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rant sur le march\u00e9 et sont essentiels pour stimuler l&rsquo;e-commerce en Afrique. D\u2019un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, la croissance constante des cha\u00eenes de supermarch\u00e9s locales contribue \u00e0 l\u2019essor de ce secteur. \u00c0 noter que <b>70 %<\/b> des Africains ach\u00e8tent leurs produits de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de vendeurs locaux. Ce comportement des consommateurs cr\u00e9e un march\u00e9 dans des zones moins d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es sur le plan du commerce de d\u00e9tail, avec une attention particuli\u00e8re port\u00e9e aux pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences r\u00e9gionales. \u00c0 titre d&rsquo;exemple, le supermarch\u00e9 nig\u00e9rian Marketsquare poss\u00e8de 24 magasins \u00e0 travers le pays, profitant de la croissance des villes secondaires.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Perspectives de modernisation du commerce de d\u00e9tail<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/capmad.com\/fr\/business-fr\/commerce-afro-caribeen-optimiser-les-echanges-commerciaux\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #eb612e\" rel=\"noopener\">Le commerce de d\u00e9tail en Afrique<\/a> \u00e9volue vers la modernisation, mettant l&rsquo;accent sur les solutions num\u00e9riques telles que la digitalisation. De plus en plus de d\u00e9taillants proposent des services num\u00e9riques, avec pr\u00e8s d\u2019un tiers offrant des options de commande, de livraison \u00e0 distance et de paiement sur factures. Par exemple, au Kenya, <b>97 %<\/b> des petits d\u00e9taillants acceptent l&rsquo;argent mobile, tandis qu&rsquo;au Maroc, l&rsquo;adoption num\u00e9rique reste faible, avec seulement<b> 1 %<\/b> des commerces utilisant la monnaie \u00e9lectronique et <b>29 % <\/b>offrant des services num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n<p>En ce qui concerne les mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;affiliation ou de franchise, l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat varie :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>40 %<\/b> au Maroc et au Kenya<\/li>\n<li><b>50 %<\/b> en \u00c9gypte<\/li>\n<li><b>60 %<\/b> en Afrique du Sud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les d\u00e9taillants traditionnels en Afrique expriment un optimisme mitig\u00e9 quant au d\u00e9veloppement de leurs march\u00e9s. Bien que de nombreux d\u00e9taillants se sentent sous pression face \u00e0 la concurrence des d\u00e9taillants modernes, beaucoup croient en le potentiel de croissance de leur commerce :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>79 %<\/b> au Kenya<\/li>\n<li><b>88 %<\/b> au Nigeria<\/li>\n<li><b>43 %<\/b> en \u00c9gypte<\/li>\n<li><b>32 %<\/b> au Maroc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cette modernisation du commerce de d\u00e9tail en Afrique ouvre de nouvelles perspectives, offrant aux d\u00e9taillants la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;adapter leurs activit\u00e9s aux \u00e9volutions du march\u00e9 et aux attentes des consommateurs.<\/p>\n<h3>Projections en chiffres suivant la tendance actuelle<\/h3>\n<p>Pour le reste de cette d\u00e9cennie, le march\u00e9 du commerce de d\u00e9tail traditionnel reste pr\u00e9dominant au Nigeria, avec peu de modifications pr\u00e9vues dans son \u00e9ventail de produits et services. La part de march\u00e9 du commerce de d\u00e9tail moderne devrait demeurer inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0<b> 5 %<\/b> d&rsquo;ici 2030, comparativement \u00e0 <b>30 % <\/b>au Maroc et <b>25 % <\/b>au Kenya. Cependant, l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte pr\u00e9voit une croissance rapide de ce secteur, repr\u00e9sentant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 <b>45 %<\/b> des ventes.
