Sa nomination intervient \u00e0 un moment cl\u00e9, alors que le pays est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis nutritionnels croissants, exacerb\u00e9s par les effets du changement climatique.<\/p>\n<p>Avant son affectation, elle a dirig\u00e9 les op\u00e9rations du PAM au Guatemala et au P\u00e9rou, mettant en place des initiatives en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et de r\u00e9silience. Son expertise, acquise \u00e0 travers diverses missions en Asie, en Afrique subsaharienne et en Am\u00e9rique latine, inclut la lutte contre la malnutrition infantile via le programme REACH.<\/p>\n<p>Sous son leadership, le PAM mettra en \u0153uvre son Plan strat\u00e9gique pays 2024-2028, avec pour priorit\u00e9 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la nourriture, le renforcement des filets de protection sociale et l\u2019appui aux populations vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab <i>Je suis honor\u00e9e de prendre la direction du PAM \u00e0 Madagascar \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 notre collaboration avec le gouvernement est plus que jamais essentielle<\/i> \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.
