Ce manque freine la progression du secteur et emp\u00eache les d\u00e9cideurs d\u2019agir avec pr\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, aucun chiffre ne d\u00e9crit clairement le poids du tourisme dans l\u2019\u00e9conomie locale. L\u2019Insee dispose pourtant d\u2019une m\u00e9thode de comptage utilis\u00e9e dans les autres d\u00e9partements d\u2019outre-mer depuis 2019. \u00c0 Mayotte, cette m\u00e9thode reste absente. M\u00eame la fr\u00e9quentation h\u00f4teli\u00e8re ne fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un suivi r\u00e9gulier que depuis 2021, au d\u00e9part pour mesurer les effets de la crise sanitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 ce constat, la Cour des comptes recommande la mise en place d\u2019indicateurs fiables avant la fin de 2026. Ces outils doivent aider les autorit\u00e9s \u00e0 planifier les actions, cibler les priorit\u00e9s et orienter les investissements vers les besoins r\u00e9els du territoire.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le terrain de la formation, les progr\u00e8s restent encourageants. Entre 2019 et 2023, le nombre de jeunes form\u00e9s aux m\u00e9tiers du tourisme a presque doubl\u00e9. Les financements atteignent d\u00e9sormais pr\u00e8s d\u2019un demi-million d\u2019euros. Pourtant, de nombreux candidats n\u2019obtiennent pas de place. Les structures manquent et les liens entre organismes de formation demeurent faibles.<\/p>\n<p>Pour am\u00e9liorer la situation, l\u2019\u00c9tat, Akto et le Conseil d\u00e9partemental ont sign\u00e9 en novembre 2024 un Accord de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019emploi et des comp\u00e9tences (ADEC). Ce programme, dot\u00e9 de 570 000 euros, vise \u00e0 renforcer les formations dans l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie, la restauration, les activit\u00e9s nautiques et la m\u00e9diation culturelle.<\/p>\n<p>Mais sans coordination solide entre les institutions, ces efforts risquent de rester dispers\u00e9s. La Cour appelle donc \u00e0 une meilleure gouvernance pour rendre la fili\u00e8re plus lisible et plus efficace.<\/p>\n<p>Mayotte poss\u00e8de des atouts consid\u00e9rables : un lagon d\u2019une richesse exceptionnelle, une culture vivante et des paysages remarquables. Le d\u00e9veloppement du tourisme doit s\u2019appuyer sur ces ressources tout en pr\u00e9servant l\u2019environnement.
