La rencontre, tenue au Nouveau B\u00e2timent du Tr\u00e9sor \u00e0 Port-Louis, a permis de faire le point sur les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 Maurice dans la lutte contre ces maladies non transmissibles.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Depuis 2007, le pays a fait des progr\u00e8s significatifs dans la prise en charge des maladies cardiaques. Le Professeur Walker a rappel\u00e9 que le pays avait \u00e9t\u00e9 un acteur cl\u00e9 dans des essais cliniques importants, notamment une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e en 2014. Le sp\u00e9cialiste a \u00e9galement annonc\u00e9 que l\u2019\u00eele serait impliqu\u00e9 dans une nouvelle recherche sur les crises cardiaques, qui inclura huit autres pays africains. Cette \u00e9tude vise \u00e0 approfondir la compr\u00e9hension de ces crises et \u00e0 mettre en place des solutions efficaces pour les r\u00e9duire.<\/p>\n<p>Le diab\u00e8te, qui touche une large partie de la population, a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9 lors de cette rencontre. Le Professeur Yellon a salu\u00e9 les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer la prise en charge des patients diab\u00e9tiques. Notamment gr\u00e2ce aux programmes de pr\u00e9vention et aux soins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. Ces initiatives ont permis d\u2019apporter des am\u00e9liorations notables dans la gestion de la maladie \u00e0 Maurice.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux experts insistent sur l\u2019importance de poursuivre la collaboration avec Maurice, qui joue un r\u00f4le fondamental dans la recherche sur ces maladies. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces efforts, l&rsquo;\u00eele est bien positionn\u00e9e pour renforcer sa place de leader r\u00e9gional dans la lutte contre les maladies cardiaques et le
