{"id":91857,"date":"2025-04-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-01T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.capmad.com\/news\/%news-category%\/maurice-celebre-lannee-des-cooperatives\/"},"modified":"2025-04-02T08:01:00","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T05:01:00","slug":"maurice-celebre-lannee-des-cooperatives","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.capmad.com\/fr\/news\/agribusiness-fr\/maurice-celebre-lannee-des-cooperatives\/","title":{"rendered":"Maurice c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e des coop\u00e9ratives"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Un appel \u00e0 la modernisation du secteur agricole<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Le 27 mars 2025, \u00e0 la succursale de la Mauritius Cooperative Agricultural Federation Ltd (MCAF) \u00e0 Saint-Pierre, le Ministre de l&rsquo;Industrie, des PME et des Coop\u00e9ratives, Sayed Muhammad Aadil Ameer Meea, a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 l&rsquo;engagement de Maurice en faveur des coop\u00e9ratives agricoles.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9claration a eu lieu lors d\u2019une exposition d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la promotion des intrants agricoles et des plantules, dans le cadre de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e internationale des coop\u00e9ratives (AIC 2025), proclam\u00e9e par l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations unies en juin 2024 sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab Les coop\u00e9ratives construisent un monde meilleur \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Dans son discours, le Ministre souligne l&rsquo;importance des coop\u00e9ratives dans le secteur agricole mauricien. La MCAF, qui regroupe 112 coop\u00e9ratives de canne \u00e0 sucre, repr\u00e9sente plus de 5 110 membres cultivant la canne sur 5 000 hectares de terres. En 2023, les planteurs coop\u00e9ratifs ont produit environ 23 313 tonnes de sucre, contribuant \u00e0 10 % de la production nationale.<\/p>\n<p>Ameer Meea a soulign\u00e9 les efforts de modernisation du secteur, notamment par la m\u00e9canisation de la production. Ainsi, il a mentionn\u00e9 l\u2019unit\u00e9 de m\u00e9canisation de la MCAF, essentielle pour garantir la durabilit\u00e9 du secteur face \u00e0 une p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. Le Ministre a \u00e9galement salu\u00e9 les initiatives de diversification agricole de l\u2019organisation, qui exploite 13 points de vente d&rsquo;engrais.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, Meea a encourag\u00e9 les autres coop\u00e9ratives \u00e0 adopter des strat\u00e9gies modernes, \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier l\u2019entraide communautaire et \u00e0 participer activement \u00e0 la modernisation du secteur pour renforcer l\u2019\u00e9conomie nationale. Le responsable a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 le soutien du gouvernement aux coop\u00e9ratives, essentielles \u00e0 la r\u00e9silience de
