Parvenir \u00e0 obtenir une immunit\u00e9 collective<\/h2>\n

La vaccination, initi\u00e9e le 29 octobre, a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 atteindre en seulement trois jours 42 % de la population cibl\u00e9e \u00e0 Ngazidja. Le pays se dirige vers une immunit\u00e9 commune.<\/b><\/p>\n

Vendredi 1er novembre dernier, au minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9, les responsables du secteur sanitaire ont organis\u00e9 une conf\u00e9rence de presse. L’objectif de cette r\u00e9union, dirig\u00e9e par le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re en question, le docteur Ben Imani, \u00e9tait d’\u00e9valuer la situation concernant la vaccination contre le chol\u00e9ra. Une seconde campagne a d\u00e9but\u00e9 le mardi 29 octobre dans le but d’aider la population comorienne \u00e0 obtenir une immunit\u00e9 commune, mettant ainsi un terme \u00e0 l’\u00e9pid\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Depuis le d\u00e9but de cette campagne in\u00e9dite, nous sommes ravis du d\u00e9sir grandissant des citoyens d’\u00eatre vaccin\u00e9s<\/i>. Au cours de la premi\u00e8re campagne effectu\u00e9e en juin dernier \u00e0 Ngazidja, un total de 431 264 individus ont re\u00e7u le vaccin. Depuis mardi, nous avons proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au vaccin de 10 230 individus suppl\u00e9mentaires, ce qui repr\u00e9sente 42 % du public vis\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment vaccin\u00e9 <\/i>\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9. D’ici la fin de cette campagne de vaccination en masse, une immunit\u00e9 collective pourra \u00eatre obtenue.<\/p>\n

Il a manifest\u00e9 la d\u00e9termination du gouvernement comorien dans ce combat et a exprim\u00e9 sa gratitude aux partenaires qui ont facilit\u00e9 la fourniture de vaccins anti-chol\u00e9riques en quantit\u00e9 ad\u00e9quate pour couvrir l’ensemble de la population. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le docteur Saindou Ben Ali Mbae, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Sant\u00e9, a soulign\u00e9 que les autorit\u00e9s se pr\u00e9paraient pour d\u00e9clarer la fin de la maladie. N\u00e9anmoins, quelques cas se sont signal\u00e9s au nord de Ngazidja.
