Favoriser la coop\u00e9ration dans des secteurs cruciaux<\/h2>\n

Maneesh Gobin, procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, de l’Int\u00e9gration r\u00e9gionale et du Commerce international, a re\u00e7u une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation am\u00e9ricaine le jeudi 24 octobre 2024. Celle-ci \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e du coordinateur de Prosper Africa, British Robinson, de l’ambassadeur des \u00c9tats-Unis d’Am\u00e9rique pour la R\u00e9publique de Maurice, Henry Jardine.<\/b><\/p>\n

La visite de courtoisie a suivi une session de travail durant laquelle les deux entit\u00e9s ont r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 leur d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 consolider les relations bilat\u00e9rales en place et favoriser la coop\u00e9ration dans des secteurs cruciaux. Mme Robinson a mis en exergue dans son discours que la mission de Prosper Africa est d’attirer et de stimuler les investissements priv\u00e9s dans le secteur commercial sur tout le continent. Elle a soulign\u00e9 que l’\u00eele Maurice est particuli\u00e8rement bien positionn\u00e9e pour occuper une place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante dans ce projet. En particulier, en apportant sa contribution \u00e0 l’\u00e9conomie globale tout en favorisant la croissance \u00e9conomique de l’Afrique.<\/p>\n

Elle a mis en exergue le r\u00f4le crucial de Maurice dans ce contexte, indiquant que les atouts strat\u00e9giques du pays pourraient favoriser son pouvoir \u00e9conomique. Elle est persuad\u00e9e que la coop\u00e9ration peut favoriser la cr\u00e9ation de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s d’investissement et d’\u00e9volution dans toute l’Afrique.<\/p>\n

Selon l’ambassadeur Jardine, Prosper Africa pourrait jouer un r\u00f4le crucial \u00e0 Maurice, mettant l’accent sur la position strat\u00e9gique du pays comme point d\u2019entr\u00e9e pour plusieurs pays. Il a salu\u00e9 la stabilit\u00e9 d\u00e9mmocratique de l’\u00eele Maurice, soulignant que ce pays dispose des conditions et de la connectivit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour favoriser d’importants partenariats.<\/p>\n

M.
