Dans le rapport Mo Ibrahim sur la gouvernance africaine de 2024, le Pr\u00e9sident Wavel Ramkalawan s’est montr\u00e9 satisfait que les Seychelles sont class\u00e9es en t\u00eate du continent.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous avons re\u00e7u des informations positives, les Seychelles se classent en t\u00eate de l’Afrique sur l’Indice, ce qui rev\u00eat une grande signification puisqu’elles sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme une autorit\u00e9 majeure en Afrique<\/i> \u00bb affirme le Pr\u00e9sident. Cette ann\u00e9e, le rapport regroupe des informations sur une p\u00e9riode de 10 ans, soit 2014-2023. Cela englobe les p\u00e9riodes dirig\u00e9es par trois pr\u00e9sidents, James Michel, Danny Faure et Wavel Ramkalawan, le dernier. Dans la cat\u00e9gorie Gouvernance globale, les Seychelles se classent en t\u00eate avec 75,3 sur 100 points potentiels, tandis que Maurice se classe en seconde position avec 72,8 sur 100. La Somalie et le Soudan du Sud se trouvent \u00e0 la fin du classement.<\/p>\n

Les Seychelles, qui regroupent 115 \u00eeles de l’oc\u00e9an Indien occidental, figurent \u00e9galement parmi les 10 pays qui ont enregistr\u00e9 des progr\u00e8s significatifs entre 2014 et 2023, en compagnie de la Gambie, de la Sierra Leone, de l’Angola, de la Mauritanie. et de Djibouti.
