Augmenter la production de 17 000 \u00e0 150 000 tonnes par an<\/h2>\n

La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne NextSource Materials, qui exploite la mine de graphite Molo dans l’Atsimo Andrefana, am\u00e9liore sa capacit\u00e9 de production annuelle. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 financi\u00e8re internationale (SFI), une filiale de la Banque mondiale sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le secteur priv\u00e9, accompagne financi\u00e8rement ce projet.<\/b><\/p>\n

Molo est sur le point de devenir l’une des plus grandes mines de graphite au monde<\/b>. Avec un projet d’expansion ambitieux d’une valeur de 162 millions USD. Il s’agit d’augmenter la production de la mine qui passera de 17 000 \u00e0 150 000 tonnes par an. La SFI apporte son soutien financier \u00e0 ce projet en signant une facilit\u00e9 de cr\u00e9dit de premier rang de 91 millions USD.<\/p>\n

L’annonce de cet accord fera de Madagascar l’un des principaux fournisseurs mondiaux de graphite, un mat\u00e9riau indispensable pour la production de batteries pour v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n

Selon la compagnie mini\u00e8re canadienne, la SFI travaille en collaboration avec d’autres institutions financi\u00e8res afin de mobiliser environ 50 % des co\u00fbts d’investissement total du projet.<\/p>\n

Le secteur extractif repr\u00e9sente actuellement environ 5 % du produit int\u00e9rieur brut (PIB) et 32 % des exportations de Madagascar.
