<\/span>(KIP) est une \u00e9tape importante vers la r\u00e9duction progressive des HFC. C’est ce qu’a soulign\u00e9 le Ministre de l’Environnement, de la Gestion des d\u00e9chets solides et du Changement climatique, Kavi Ramano, le 14 mars, lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d’ouverture d’un atelier sur le KIP \u00e0 Port-Louis.<\/p>\nDepuis 1992, l’\u00eele Maurice s’est engag\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9duction progressive de la production et de la consommation de substances appauvrissant la couche d’ozone, notamment les chlorofluorocarbures (CFC) et les hydrochlorofluorocarbures (HCFC), dans le cadre du Protocole de Montr\u00e9al. En 2019, le pays a ratifi\u00e9 l’Amendement de Kigali et des efforts substantiels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s, avec l’aide de partenaires locaux et internationaux, pour d\u00e9ployer des technologies alternatives et adopter des pratiques durables, notamment dans les secteurs de la r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration et de la climatisation.<\/p>\n
\u00c0 cet \u00e9gard, il a soulign\u00e9 que l’Amendement de Kigali au Protocole de Montr\u00e9al en 2016 servira de feuille de route globale pour r\u00e9duire les niveaux de HFC de 10 % d’ici 2029, de 30 % d’ici 2035, de 50 % d’ici 2040 et de 80 % d’ici 2045.
