En se posant comme objectif une production de 63\u00a0000 tonnes, l\u2019usine de sucrerie d\u2019Ambilobe compte tout mettre en \u0153uvre pour remonter la pente et redonner un coup de fouet \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie locale.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019industrie SUCOMA a connu des bas et des hauts, mais surtout des bas. A ses tout d\u00e9buts, elle a juste \u00e9paul\u00e9 l\u2019un des premiers \u00e9tablissements sucriers, SIRANALA, en vue des difficult\u00e9s de celle-ci en 1997. L\u2019usine est alors g\u00e9r\u00e9e conjointement avec des investisseurs chinois qui ont, depuis, baptis\u00e9 l\u2019usine sous le nom de SUCOMA (SUcrerie de Complants de Madagascar). A partir de 2011, elle a connu des crises d\u2019ordre structurel et organisationnel catastrophiques, la menant \u00e0 un ch\u00f4mage technique pendant quelques ann\u00e9es. SUCOMA n\u2019a pu reprendre ses activit\u00e9s qu\u2019\u00e0 partir de 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis, elle devient v\u00e9ritable ph\u00e9nix qui renait de ses cendres, ne faisant que grandir davantage. Passant d\u2019une production d\u2019environ <b>17\u00a0000 tonnes<\/b> avant sa fermeture temporaire, elle atteint une production de <b>60\u00a0000 tonnes <\/b>en 2022. Et cette ann\u00e9e, elle repousse encore ses limites en se posant comme objectif une production de <b>63\u00a0000 tonnes<\/b>, avec un prix de <b>38 USD<\/b> par sac, selon les limites de prix d\u00e9pos\u00e9s par le Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Industrie et de la Consommation. Cette quantit\u00e9 se rajoutera \u00e0 celle de Namakia, qui r\u00e9pond d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 de la demande en sucre de la population malagasy. Avec un tel progr\u00e8s, on peut envisager une r\u00e9duction de l\u2019importation de sucre prochainement. Pour rappel, la population malagasy consomme environ <b>175\u00a0000 tonnes de sucre<\/b>, et importe environ <b>142\u00a0000 tonnes<\/b> afin de combler la demande locale, selon les chiffres de 2021. SUCOMA Namakia et Ambilobe ne produisaient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque que <b>90\u00a0000 tonnes<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce aux efforts d\u2019augmentation de production de SUCOMA, la fili\u00e8re sucri\u00e8re va bient\u00f4t prosp\u00e9rer. De plus, le climat tropical de la Grande Ile lui promet au secteur d\u2019\u00eatre florissant. Le sol malagasy g\u00e9n\u00e8re environ <b>3 millions de tonnes de canne \u00e0 sucre<\/b> chaque ann\u00e9e. La majorit\u00e9 d\u00e9rive d\u2019Ambilobe, Nosy Be: Hell-Ville et Dzamandzar dans la R\u00e9gion Diana\u00a0; Brickaville dans l\u2019Ouest\u00a0; Namakia, dans la r\u00e9gion Boeny\u00a0; et Morondava dans la r\u00e9gion Menabe. Etant donn\u00e9 l\u2019accroissement de la demande locale, les principales industries sucri\u00e8res tentent de la couvrir, et sont en bonne voie pour y parvenir. Mais des investissements en plus dans le domaine ne seraient pas de refus. Le march\u00e9 local reste grandement ouvert des avantages se pr\u00e9sentent aux int\u00e9ress\u00e9s. Celles-ci s\u2019alignent \u00e0 la politique d\u2019industrialisation dans le cadre du projet ODOF (One District One Factory), sur les rails depuis
