Mission pour d\u00e9couvrir les profondeurs marines<\/h2>\n

Le 13 janvier 2024, OceanX a lanc\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9dition dans les eaux seychelloises. Apr\u00e8s avoir quitt\u00e9 les Seychelles, l’organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif s’installera en Asie du Sud-Est.<\/b><\/p>\n

L’exp\u00e9dition est un partenariat de collaboration entre le gouvernement des Seychelles et OceanX visant \u00e0 utiliser la plateforme aux multiples facettes, OceanXplorer, pour la recherche en haute mer. L’\u00e9quipe des Seychelles comprend des scientifiques du minist\u00e8re de l’Environnement, de la Seychelles Fishing Authority (SFA), de la Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF), de la Save our Seas Foundation Seychelles (SOSF), de l’Universit\u00e9 des Seychelles (UniSey), de l’Island Conservation Society (ICS) et d’autres scientifiques locaux.<\/p>\n

Reconnu pour ses recherches scientifiques solides, sa technologie de pointe, son \u00e9ducation exp\u00e9rientielle et ses m\u00e9dias accessibles, OceanX est un d\u00e9fenseur de la sant\u00e9 des oc\u00e9ans \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle mondiale. Sa mission est d’aider les scientifiques \u00e0 explorer l’oc\u00e9an tout en le pr\u00e9servant afin de susciter un changement positif.<\/p>\n

L\u2019exp\u00e9dition Seychelles-OceanX fournira des donn\u00e9es inestimables qui soutiendront le d\u00e9veloppement durable de l\u2019\u00e9conomie bleue et la gouvernance du vaste territoire oc\u00e9anique des Seychelles. Au cours de la mission d’un mois, des scientifiques locaux de diff\u00e9rentes sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s exploreront et entreprendront des recherches sur diff\u00e9rents sujets. L’exp\u00e9dition vise \u00e0 combler les lacunes dans la collecte syst\u00e9matique de donn\u00e9es en \u00e9tendant les observations \u00e0 des profondeurs d’au moins 2 000 m\u00e8tres. Ce qui permettra d’acqu\u00e9rir une compr\u00e9hension globale des mod\u00e8les de biodiversit\u00e9 et de la mani\u00e8re dont ils varient en fonction du lieu et de la profondeur.<\/p>\n

D’autres domaines de recherche comprendront la surveillance visuelle des animaux marins, des oiseaux, des tortues de mer, des requins et des raies ainsi que des d\u00e9bris marins. Une fois l’exp\u00e9dition termin\u00e9e, le minist\u00e8re de l’Environnement et ses partenaires organiseront une conf\u00e9rence de presse conjointe pour donner un aper\u00e7u de l’exp\u00e9dition et fournir des informations sur les priorit\u00e9s post-exp\u00e9dition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
