L\u2019ouverture officielle de Waldorf Astoria sur l\u2019\u00eele de Platte s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e le 30 janvier 2024. Le nouveau complexe s\u2019agit de la cinqui\u00e8me infrastructure touristique du groupe Hilton dans l\u2019archipel des Seychelles.<\/b><\/p>\n

Des dignitaires \u00e9minents, dont le couple pr\u00e9sidentiel des Seychelles, ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement majeur, accompagn\u00e9s de divers repr\u00e9sentants du groupe Hilton et des autorit\u00e9s locales. La secr\u00e9taire principale au tourisme, la directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du marketing de destination aux Seychelles, ainsi que d’autres invit\u00e9s distingu\u00e9s \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie sur l’\u00eele de Platte.<\/p>\n

L’occasion a soulign\u00e9 le partenariat durable entre le pays et Hilton. Un des moments forts de cette inauguration a \u00e9t\u00e9 la plantation symbolique d’un cocotier par le pr\u00e9sident seychellois lui-m\u00eame. Ce geste charg\u00e9 de symbolisme repr\u00e9sente la croissance et la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 \u00e0 venir pour cet \u00e9tablissement de renom.\u00a0 Dans son discours, le pr\u00e9sident Ramkalawan s’est dit impressionn\u00e9 par la qualit\u00e9 et la beaut\u00e9 du Seychelles Waldorf Astoria sur l’\u00eele de Platte. Le chef d\u2019\u00c9tat a exprim\u00e9 sa gratitude envers toutes les personnes impliqu\u00e9es dans ce projet ambitieux. \u00c0 savoir le Islands Development Company, le groupe Hilton ainsi que la direction et le personnel du complexe pour leur contribution \u00e0 l’\u00e9volution de Platte Island.<\/p>\n

Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 130 km au sud de Mah\u00e9, Platte Island offre un cadre idyllique avec sa v\u00e9g\u00e9tation luxuriante, son r\u00e9cif corallien et son lagon cristallin. L\u2019\u00eele est facilement accessible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa petite piste d’atterrissage reliant l’a\u00e9roport de Pointe Larue.
