Mvola, de Telma, a franchi haut la main les \u00e9preuves \u00ab\u00a0B Impact Assessment\u00a0\u00bb soigneusement \u00e9labor\u00e9e par B Lab, en vue d\u2019obtention de la certification B corp. Une \u00e9tape importante pour l\u2019entreprise, mais aussi symbolique pour la r\u00e9gion OI, en termes d\u2019inclusion financi\u00e8re et de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique.<\/b><\/p>\n

R\u00e9f\u00e9rence mondiale des entreprises engag\u00e9es, le label B corp, ou Benefit Corporation, est une prestigieuse certification d\u00e9livr\u00e9e par B Lab aux entreprises r\u00e9pondant conform\u00e9ment aux normes de la RSE. Lors du lancement de cette certification en 2006, B Lab, organisme \u00e0 but non lucratif pr\u00e9sent dans presque tous les continents \u00e0 commencer par les Etats Unis, a \u00e9tabli les conditions d\u2019obtention du label. Concr\u00e8tement, toute entreprise en qu\u00eate de ce prestige devra se soumettre \u00e0 des supputations rigoureuses moyennant une note minimale de 80 sur 200 aux \u00e9valuations \u00ab\u00a0B Impact Assessment\u00a0\u00bb<\/i>\u00a0(\u00e9valuation de l’impact B).<\/p>\n

Le service de mobile money de Telma a brandit haut son certificat, obtenu ce 7 juillet dernier. La premi\u00e8re banque mobile de Madagascar, s\u2019av\u00e8re \u00eatre \u00e9galement la premi\u00e8re banque malagasy \u00e0 rejoindre les rangs tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9s des entreprises certifi\u00e9s B corp en Afrique.<\/p>\n

\u00abCe prestigieux label t\u00e9moigne de l\u2019engagement continu de MVola, depuis 2010, \u00e0 fournir des services financiers abordables, de qualit\u00e9 et aux standards technologiques internationaux\u00bb<\/i>, d\u00e9clare fi\u00e8rement le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Mvola, Louis-Olivier Favot. B Corp, en tant que seule certification qui fournit de mani\u00e8re exhaustive les performances sociales et environnementales d’une entreprise dans toutes les dimensions, utilise l’outil d’\u00e9valuation de l’impact B qui se base sur cinq piliers essentiels : la gouvernance, la communaut\u00e9, les employ\u00e9s et l’environnement. Cette certification prouve donc l\u2019importance qu\u2019accorde l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 l\u2019impact social, soci\u00e9tal et environnemental de ses activit\u00e9s. En externe, Mvola contribue chaleureusement \u00e0 l\u2019inclusion financi\u00e8re \u00e0 Madagascar, \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019impact social, et \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation de l\u2019environnement. En interne, le r\u00e9seau a su mettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve sa bonne gouvernance, et son environnement productif pour ses employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Seule une cinquantaine d\u2019entreprises sont certifi\u00e9s B corp dans tout le continent. Parmi elles, on peut citer Baobab + au s\u00e9n\u00e9gal, Naturafrica en Afrique du Sud, EcoZoom au Kenya, Good Nature Agro en Zambie\u2026etc. Cette certification est donc symbolique pour le pays, mais aussi pour tout le continent africain et l\u2019oc\u00e9an indien. Micael Noguero, repr\u00e9sentant de B Lab dans la r\u00e9gion Oc\u00e9an Indien, affirme : \u00ab La certification de MVola repr\u00e9sente une \u00e9tape importante pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la r\u00e9gion Oc\u00e9an Indien. Disposer de services financiers qui atteignent le plus haut niveau de responsabilit\u00e9 sociale et environnementale nous rassure sur le fait que la croissance de ce moteur \u00e9conomique profitera \u00e0 tous.\u00a0\u00bb<\/i><\/p>\n

AXIAN group, m\u00e8re de l\u2019op\u00e9rateur Telma et de Mvola, renforce sa puissance et son engagement dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019impact en Afrique. Ce n\u2019est en effet pas le premier certificat B corp que le groupe a acquis.
