Vincent Degert, vient de terminer son mandat. Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse, il tenait \u00e0 insister sur les potentiels de la Maurice et que l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne reste le principal partenaire commercial de cette derni\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne et la R\u00e9publique de Maurice entretiennent depuis longtemps un partenariat solide commerciale. A l\u2019instance, l&rsquo;\u00eele Maurice avec 5 autres pays de l\u2019Afrique \u00e0 savoir les Seychelles, Madagascar, Comores, Zambie et Zimbabwe ont sign\u00e9 un accord de partenariat \u00e9conomique (APE) avec l&rsquo;UE en 2009. L\u2019accord consiste \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des barri\u00e8res d\u2019entr\u00e9es et tarifs commerciales entre les deux parties.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Ambassadeur de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne aupr\u00e8s de la R\u00e9publique de Maurice S.E.M. Vincent Degert a notamment mentionn\u00e9 que \u00ab <i>L\u2019UE est rest\u00e9 le principal partenaire commercial de la Maurice avec un taux avoisinant les <\/i><b>30 %<\/b><i> du commerce total. Par ailleurs, les donn\u00e9es montrent que le total des \u00e9changes commerciales de Maurice avec l&rsquo;UE depuis 2005 a augment\u00e9 depuis la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019APE. L&rsquo;Union Europ\u00e9enne continuera \u00e0 assurer l\u2019\u00e9conomie du pays en fournissant des IDE<\/i>\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Commerce international<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Concernant les relations commerciales internationales du pays\u00a0; il est important de noter que Maurice s\u2019est class\u00e9 en 2021 en 142\u00e8me position en termes d&rsquo;exportations en 134\u1d49 en termes d&rsquo;importations. Dans la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, le montant des exportations a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 <b>2,26 milliards USD<\/b> contre des importations de <b>5,52 milliards USD<\/b>. Les principaux produits d\u2019exportations sont notamment le poisson transform\u00e9 (<b>241 millions USD<\/b>), le sucre brut (<b>189 millions USD<\/b>), habillage non tricot\u00e9s (<b>110 millions USD<\/b>), les t-shirts tricot\u00e9s (<b>89,4 millions USD<\/b>) et les diamants (<b>71,8 millions USD<\/b>). Les exportations sont destin\u00e9es surtout \u00e0 la France (<b>240 millions USD<\/b>), \u00e0 l&rsquo;Afrique du Sud (<b>238 millions USD<\/b>), au Zimbabwe (<b>198 millions USD<\/b>), aux \u00c9tats-Unis (<b>156 millions USD<\/b>) et au Royaume-Uni (<b>151 millions USD<\/b>). D\u2019autre part, les principaux produits d\u2019importations sont le p\u00e9trole raffin\u00e9 (<b>702 millions USD<\/b>), le poisson congel\u00e9 (<b>223 millions USD<\/b>), les voitures (<b>185 millions USD<\/b>), les m\u00e9dicaments (<b>183 millions USD<\/b>) et les briquettes de charbon (<b>171 millions USD<\/b>). Les importations proviennent principalement de Chine (<b>1,01 milliard USD<\/b>), d&rsquo;Inde (<b>787 millions USD<\/b>), d&rsquo;Afrique du Sud (<b>473 millions USD<\/b>), des \u00c9mirats arabes unis (<b>441 millions USD<\/b>) et de la France (<b>396 millions USD<\/b>).<\/p>\n<h3><b>Relations commerciales avec l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne a export\u00e9 d\u2019une valeur de <b>1,17 milliards USD<\/b> \u00e0 Maurice en l\u2019an 2022 dont les principaux produits sont les perles, pierres et m\u00e9taux pr\u00e9cieux (<b>145,53 millions USD<\/b>), Machines, r\u00e9acteurs nucl\u00e9aires, chaudi\u00e8res (<b>133,83 millions USD<\/b>), V\u00e9hicules autres que les chemins de fer et les tramways (<b>89,89 millions USD<\/b>), \u00c9quipements \u00e9lectriques et \u00e9lectroniques (<b>84,84 millions USD<\/b>), Huiles essentielles, parfums, cosm\u00e9tiques, produits de toilette (<b>51,70 millions USD<\/b>).<\/p>\n<p>Quant aux importations, les importations de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne en provenance de Maurice se sont \u00e9lev\u00e9es \u00e0<b> 627,74 millions USD<\/b> en 2022, dont les produits principaux sont les produits industriels \u00e0 base de viande (<b>177,39 millions USD<\/b>), Sucres (<b>88,59 millions USD<\/b>), V\u00eatements en tricot ou en crochet (<b>54,73 millions USD<\/b>), Perles, pierres pr\u00e9cieuses, m\u00e9taux, pi\u00e8ces de monnaie (<b>51,76 millions USD<\/b>), V\u00eatements, autres qu&rsquo;en bonneterie (<b>44,57 millions
