Selon G\u00e9rard Lebon, Pr\u00e9sident de la CPME R\u00e9union, les cons\u00e9quences sont importantes. \u00ab <i>C\u2019est un vrai probl\u00e8me pour les chefs d\u2019entreprise, quelle que soit leur taille. Ce MACF va rench\u00e9rir nos co\u00fbts et affecter le pouvoir d\u2019achat des R\u00e9unionnais <\/i>\u00bb a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, le syndicat patronal redoute en particulier une flamb\u00e9e des prix dans le BTP et milite pour une exemption adapt\u00e9e aux r\u00e9gions ultrap\u00e9riph\u00e9riques (RUP).<\/p>\n<p>Une solution pourrait venir de Bruxelles. La Commission europ\u00e9enne a lanc\u00e9 une consultation publique sur le r\u00e8glement Omnibus RUP, qui vise \u00e0 adapter la l\u00e9gislation europ\u00e9enne aux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s des RUP. Ce chantier, pr\u00e9vu pour le printemps 2026, est pilot\u00e9 par le commissaire europ\u00e9en Raffaele Fitto.<\/p>\n<p>La D\u00e9put\u00e9e europ\u00e9enne Isabelle Le Callennec a salu\u00e9 cette initiative comme un signal fort et attendu. \u00ab\u00a0<i>Les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s g\u00e9ographiques, climatiques et \u00e9conomiques des RUP exigent des r\u00e8gles adapt\u00e9es<\/i>\u00a0\u00bb a-t-elle rappel\u00e9. Cette derni\u00e8re encourage les repr\u00e9sentants fran\u00e7ais, espagnols et portugais \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre leurs territoires et invite les acteurs ultramarins \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la consultation, ouverte jusqu\u2019au 12 janvier.<\/p>\n<p>Pour la CPME R\u00e9union, le dispositif peut devenir un levier concret. \u00ab <i>L\u2019article 349 du trait\u00e9 europ\u00e9en pr\u00e9voit un traitement diff\u00e9renci\u00e9 pour les RUP. C\u2019est notre base pour sortir les outre-mer du champ de la taxe carbone <\/i>\u00bb, explique G\u00e9rard Lebon, qui conseille aux chefs d\u2019entreprise de ne pas anticiper de hausses pr\u00e9matur\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019objectif est d\u2019\u00e9viter que la transition \u00e9cologique europ\u00e9enne ne devienne une barri\u00e8re \u00e9conomique pour La R\u00e9union. \u00ab
